What about children?

It is true that Ancient Greek (for example), was difficult to establish a chronology in time, because of the lack of resources. Anyway, despite this facts, it was particularly difficult to write the history of a period in which Greeks placed in their mythical past. Greek mythology famously sought to narrate the Genesis of divine pantheons and also of human communities mixing their selves. Currently, these greek sources to explain the creation of the world and their own existence, nowadays they are known as fantastic stories. 

Now, we are working on how interactivity works, and we want to put it in practice with the main subject of our blog, Mythology and History, but focusing on children. Why? Basically, because interactive content allows the spectator to engage with the content easily. Interactive, on the viewer, create an experience, and it becomes more memorable and useful for them. Keeps people´s attention for longer. That´s why we choose children, is not an easy work to maintain them distract or create an interest in something when they are little. 

I´d found a really interesting blog about this aspect. It shows how to introduce your young child to Greek Mythology. 

First of all, the main interaction you can have with the web page is a video in which we can see a boy reading, telling the story on his own. Secondly, it shows different main steps to follow if you want to reach the goal. This kind of interaction I will describe it as an assessment. Is clear enough. And the steps started from early ages increasing, so that's interesting to follow. 

Personally, I will add some more activities which require action and imagination of the child, could be representing a myth, drawing the main characters at they way the imaging them...etc.
